The IRSC Chapter of the Association of Florida Colleges website has moved. Please visit us at
This is the 3rd year in a row that IRSC has been recognized as the strongest chapter in the state. Can you say DYNASTY?!
Thank you to everyone who has participated in our events and/or helped us raise funds for student scholarships and our chapter activities.
At the end of the day our students are the true beneficiaries of our efforts and that is most meaningful to all of us.
That is what makes our chapter of AFC so special.
There were also individual winners last week.
We will celebrate and recognize those folks at our AFC luncheon meeting this Thursday, November 21st, in N135 from 12:30-1:30 pm.
We will also hear about our fantastic Performing Arts Department student production season from Rebecca Shearer, Box Office Manager and AFC Chapter award winner!
IRSC Chapter President, Casey Lunceford
The next Chapter Meeting will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. in N-135, the Natural Science Center.

Are you a sports fan? It’s October, the best time of the sports calendar year!
College and Professional Football is in full swing but we also have Major League Baseball playoffs, European Soccer season finals, and the start of the Hockey and Basketball seasons all wrapped up into one month! How can you show your support and passion for your favorite team?
IRSC AFC “Jeans and Jersey Day!”
This event allows you to wear your favorite sports jersey to work on Friday, October 11th, for a $5 donation. Funds from the event will go to sponsor student scholarships and other AFC activities in the fall semester. For your donation you will receive a wrist band that tells your supervisor you are participating.
Two things to remember though:
1) All Jeans must be “clean.” NO holes, patches, fraying, or writing on them
2) All Jersey’s need to have sleeves.
Contact the following people at each campus to get your wristband beginning Monday, October 7th:
